General Information

  • All CarveWright machines along with and CompuCarve machines that have been upgraded with the A907 motor pack will need the adapter cable and clip in order to plug into the head cover plug.
  • Each scanning probe adapter cable comes with a retaining clip that attaches it to the head casting.  It should be attached on the front lip of the head casting towards the middle.  It is to keep the cable from getting in the way of scanning probe tip.
  • We do not sell the Sled for the scanning probe but the plans can be found at the following address http://www.carvewright.com/downloads/scanning_sled_plans.pdf.  Also check out the Tips and Trick newsletters for more scanning information.
  • The Scanning Probe License unlocks the Download Scan Function of the CarveWright Designer Software.
  • The Scanning Probe License number is located on your invoice. The code Format is XXXX.XXXX.XXXX.XXXX.  The letters must be entered in All Caps
