Scanning Probe moves all the way to the top and the display says Please Check Probe
In this case the Scanning Probe is recognized by the Machine but it gets stuck in the Open position in the middle of the scan. Have the customer check that the hole in the body allows the probe tip to move freely. This hole may need to be opened up.
Scanning Probe reading intermittently
Scanning Probe signal keeps going from Open to Closed even though it is not touching the object. Usually this is a bad connection in the cable somewhere: Go to the Probe State check and move the cable around by hand. Look for any movements that cause the state to go from Open to Closed.
The Scanning Probe will not go Down when you hit ENTER to select the first corner
