No Plug connection on Z-truck

The connection on the Z-truck is for the older series CompuCarve machines (about 8,000 and below).   The new machines plug directly into the connector located in the left side of the cover.  New machines must have the following: Verify version 1.121 or later of the software/firmware Verify that it is attached using the Probe

Scanning Probe digs into Scanning Sled or mars surface of the scan object

Several things need to be checked: The scanning probe is not being recognized when it is attached (See Above Scanning Probe not recognized) Scanning Probe reading intermittently (See Above Scanning Probe reading intermittently) The tip of the probe has a sharp burr on it from the factory.  Have the customer use a file or sandpaper

Scanning Probe signal keeps going from Open to Closed even though it is not touching the object.  Usually this is a bad connection in the cable somewhere: Go to the Probe State check and move the cable around by hand.  Look for any movements that cause the state to go from Open to Closed.
